Not as shown and hard to use

The casserole we received does not have a handle standing up above the lid as shown in the picture. Instead, the lid has a big depression and the handle is set down in the depression. Impossible to grab using any kind of hot pad or gloves. This means that when your dish comes hot out of the oven there is no way to get the lid off other than prying it with a knife and hoping you can catch it before it falls. Really bad design!

Knob is more inset than shown. I actually prefer it to the pictured version; it will be harder to break off by accident.Lid fits perfectly, no odd gaps. Great for baking covered dishes, or just protecting leftovers in the refrigerator.Since Consumer Reports revealed the dangers of new glass bakeware, I've found this to be the perfect replacement for the small glass casserole dishes that I sent to the landfill.Perfect size for boxed potatoes (au gratin, scalloped, etc), with plenty of room left over.I love it, and plan to buy at least one more.
